Some sad news...

Tunde and the boys are planning on going on hiatus to take a break from touring for a while. It's been a hectic year for TV on the Radio, and a break from the road (and each other) looks to be on the cards. MTV caught Tunde backstage at the Outside Lands Fesitval, and he had the following to say:

"We've been on tour for almost a year now, and towards the end of the year, you do end up getting things out during the show, subliminally, that you can't get out with someone on a bus. Because you can say something to someone on the bus, and then after you've let it out, you realize you've got six hours sitting across from that person. Like, 'Remember when I called you a d--- a while ago? That was just, uh, caffeine and all sorts of sleep depravation talking, and I really didn't mean it, and I hope you don't take it to heart, even though I can tell that you are because you're not talking to me.' It's basic cabin fever."

It's very saddening, but at the very least we have Rain Machine (and a tour) to keep us topped up with TV on the Radio goodness for the time being!

Come over to the forum here to discuss :)
